CHARGER II-SF

The Charger II-SF Side-Discharge Tender is efficient, unloading up to 4,000 pounds per minute. The discharge auger rests on the fender for safe and easy transport. A hydraulic cylinder folds the discharge tube out to the unloading positions. Another hydraulic cylinder raises or lowers the discharge tube to the desired height. Discharge augers are available in several lengths to accommodate your needs.

CHARGER II-FB

The Charger II-FB Overhead-Discharge Tender features a 9 - 12 - 9 auger system, unloading up to 3,500 pounds per minute. This versatile system can rotate 270 degrees, allowing you to unload to the left, right or rear of the tender. A hydraulic motor is connected to a gearbox that rotates the horizontal discharge auger. The heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder will lift the auger up and power it down. An optional bolt-on extension for the discharge auger is available.

CHARGER II-CB

The Charger II-CB Belt-Discharge Tender is designed for a variety of applications. The tandem conveyor system can be used to transfer fertilizer or grain, and is gentle enough to handle seed. The Charger II-CB has unloading capabilities of 2,000 pounds per minute, or seed at 29 bushels per minute.

The 9-in stainless steel floor conveyor contains a 12-in PVC belt. The product is transferred to the 16-in discharge conveyor belt. The simple design of the rear-folding discharge conveyor makes it easy to operate. The 20-ft discharge conveyor is extended with hydraulic cylinders and raised into the desired unloading height.

HOPPER CONSTRUCTION
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

Charger 2 Tenders are continuously welded for strength and durability. The multi-compartment hopper is constructed of 409 stainless steel. The tenders are designed with a low center of gravity for greater stability. The hopper cones have a 40 degree slope on all four sides for easy cleanout. Easy-sliding stainless steel dump gates allow for precise metering. The frame is constructed of mild steel and has tubular steel crossmembers to support the hopper. The Charger 2 Tenders are coated with an epoxy primer and a modified urethane top coat. The optional 304 stainless steel tenders are left natural.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
HYDRAULICS

  • Hydra-Kool Jr. oil tank with a 4-gallon oil reservoir and a 12-volt DC cooler fan mounted to the truck frame. This high performance cooling system weights only 85 pounds, saving you up to 435 pounds. Available on both truck and semi-trailer tenders

  • Air shift PTOs

Charger 2 Tenders use tandem hydraulics to power the discharge system. The Parker hydraulic motors are connected to the augers with a coupler sprocket and chain assembly. to absorb shock and reduce maintenance. Directional control valves for all the auger functions feature adjustable pressure relief and are conveniently located at the rear of the tender. The truck mount units include a commercial Intertech tandem, direct-mount pump. The large capacity oil reservoir with sump strainers, filters and sight gauge keep the hydraulic system running clean and cool. 

ROLL TARPS

Optional solid stainless steel tarp bows expand the hopper capacity and keeps the material from flowing into the next bin. Roll tarps are available in two different styles.

SRT-2 ROLL TARP

  • Continuous tension makes opening and closing the tarp in windy conditions a breeze

  • Spring-loaded spools housed in an aluminum roll tube

  • Tension ratchets are attached to nylon spools on the roll tube

  • 12 ft to 24 ft box length

  • Standard manual crank or convenient electric operation

EZ-LOC® ROLL TARP

  • Aluminum latch plate mounted to the truck body

  • Bunji cord provides a pulling action when opening and closing the tarp

  • 12 ft or 48 ft box or trailer length

  • Standard manual crank or convenient electric operation
